Thank you for your interest in TCP_TX-RX. The Ultimate tool to send and receive files, on your windows-based PC, over the Internet at the maximum speed! Great for both business and personal use! You can use it to send the latest version of your program to a customer, or perhaps a bug fix. Future versions will have more features to use specifically for these kind of tasks. Of course, you can also use it to send pictures/programs and other things to your friends! Please read the Work in Progress section on things to come.. At the bottom of this page you will find the latest version and some instructions. Currently TCP_TX-RX has reached version 1.0!. Because of the high demand for this software, we have already setup an evaluation version for you to download and a way to order a full version of the current software. The evaluation version allows the program to be run 10 times, after that it will no longer function, so please consider buying the product if you need/like it. This will also result in quicker/better and larger updates. |

| HOW IT WORKS |
This must be one of the easiest programs around to use. A lot of works can still be done on the interface, but currently it is almost self-explanable. Simply run the program and you are automatically ready to start receiving files (from any other person using TCP_TX-RX). To send a file, simply click the send button, type in the IP-address of the person you want to send the file, choose the file and off you go.  [image of version 0.6] [Click image to enlarge] When somebody sends you a file, you will get a requester with information on the file (name and size) and the IP-address of the sender. Simply click "yes" to receive the file, choose a destination path and a filename.. Done! Status messages will keep you posted on what's going on and during transfer a progress bar shows (The Exact) percentages. Statistics after transfer show you e.g. the transmit speed. TCP_TX-RX opens a peer-to-peer connection between two computers, the fastest connection over internet. This makes TCP_TX-RX much faster than e.g. MS Messenger or other chat-tools that allow sending files and much easier than sending and receiving files through e.g. email. TIP: If you need to know you own IP address, simply open a DOS-prompt and type 'ipconfig' (without the brackets) |

Currently you can expect almost daily updates on the program. Here's a list of this that will be implemented soon: [DONE! -- though this feature will be enhanced] In this mode you will receive all files automatically and they will be saved in a preset destination path, no user-interaction neccessary! [DONE! -- though this feature will be enhanced] Instead of having to type in every IP-address manually, an addressbook will store all your friends and colleagues for quick accessing. When receiving a file, TCP_TX-RX will search the addressbook for a name to go with the receiving IP-address, might be handy to actually have a name with an IP-address ;-) [DONE!] This might come in handy as well ;-) Choose more than one file to send and TCP_TX-RX will send them one by one. If somehow an error has occured during transfer, this option will allow you to Resend the file from the point the error occured. Schedule TCP_TX-RX for specific times allowing receiving of files or sending them at specific times More to come as we implement features and we are also very keen on you users for input and suggestions! |
