Further on the http://2lk.nl/8p service running from this website using the Xurl module, we have developed an API for it.
All registered users can use the API for free(!) to shorten urls straight from their own website. How does it work? Make sure you are a registered user of this website! (It's free!) To use the API from your own PHP script: Call "http://www.designburo.nl/ett2/modules/Xurl/api.php" Use var url to send the url Use var u for your username Use var p for your password Read the info coming back from the API. This will contain 1 line if there is an error. It will contain two lines if all is well. Line 1 is the shortened URL and line 2 is a url of the QRCODE PNG image created for your shortened URL. So a call could look something like this: Quote:
Then you read the two lines and off you go.. If you have questions, just drop us a note here in the forum. Also.. if you, after registering, do not receive an email, you can still logon! Also.. do not forget.. ANY shortened URL you created can be viewed and deleted on the Xurl module page (click on --Show shortened URL manager). This will show you YOUR created URLS and also all its statistics: - Creation date - Old URL - Who clicked the URL, where did they come from, what is their location (country, city and region), MAC, WIN or linux users and it will even draw you a googlemap of their location.
